The hot runner system is a combination. It includes a hot nozzle, a splitter plate, a temperature controller, a runner plate, and other components to form a hot runner system. Ensure that the plastic in the hot runner and gate remains in a molten state by heating. A heating rod and heating ring are installed near or in the center of the flow channel to keep the plastic in the flow channel molten. When restarting, only the flow channel needs to be heated to the desired temperature. What are the characteristics of a hot runner system?
Characteristics of the hot runner system:
1. Forming conditions
In this non Newtonian flow, an increase in pressure results in a decrease in flow resistance. Therefore, during injection molding, although the gate is quite narrow, it is easy to fill the mold cavity. As for Newtonian fluids, there are two further classifications:
Ejection forming is a processing method that uses high speed to deform plastic solutions. Due to the compressibility of plastic solutions, it is easy to cause elastic pressure changes under high-speed flow. This phenomenon, when there is a rapid change in flow resistance, can be seen that after the elastic pressure change is generated, the diffusion direction at the front end of the fluid is extremely chaotic and unstable. However, when using high-speed filling, the plastic solution appears to be non compressible.
2. Plasticization
Namely glass state, high elasticity state (rubber state), viscous flow state (plasticizable state), decomposition state:
Glass state: 0-T1, molecules are in a frozen state, hard and brittle, and are prone to cracking under pressure.
Viscous flow state (plasticizable state): T2~T3, can be processed and formed at will.
Decomposition state: T3, plastic begins to crack, gas decomposition products appear, and even reach a burnt state.
